I) A Self-Made Righteousness never Satisfies (vv. 10-14)
II) A Dependent Disposition will Bless (vv. 15-19)
Spiritual Principle: A self-made righteousness will never put nor keep us in relationship with a Holy God. However, through trust and obedience in Him, God assures that He will sustain us.
- Self-Righteousness pushes further and further away from the Father and deeper and deeper into despair.
- Jesus's righteousness saves, sustains, blesses, and makes us a blessing to the Kingdom.

Spiritual Principle: In response to our uncertainties and spiritually shaky times, God promises us a foundation and steadfastness in His unshakeable kingdom.
- Christ is the Foundation for this Kingdom
- Christ is the Entrance into this Kingdom
- Christ is the Steadfastness in this Kingdom
- Because Christ is the King of this Kingdom

- He finds pleasure in reminding us of His Perfect Presence (v. 13)
- We gain the Hope of a renewed Spiritual Productivity (vv. 14-15)

I. The Reason for Considering Your Ways: Obsessing on Self over the Savior (vv. 1-6)
II. The Response of Considering Your Ways: Avoiding the Hard Hand of the Lord (vv. 7-11)
Half-hearted devotion to God (Christ) is really no devotion at all.
- We need to watch out for this in our own lives, families, and church.
- We are called to something more; we need something more.
- We too must consider our ways!
